Using your iPhone to cast to your TV

Can’t see the NOW device icon?

We’re aware that many members are unable to follow the steps below and cast from their iPhone at the moment.

Got an iPhone and a NOW Smart Stick or Box? You can use your iPhone to play your favourite movies, shows and sports and watch on your TV.

How do I cast to my TV using my iPhone?

 

Step 1:

Before you start, make sure your iPhone and NOW Smart Stick or Box are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Open the NOW app on your iPhone and tap the NOW device icon at the top of the screen.

Tap the NOW TV Box icon

Don’t have the NOW app on your iPhone? Just follow these steps to download it and sign in.

 

Step 2:

Select the name of the NOW Smart Stick or Box you want to connect to.

If you've got more than one NOW Smart Stick or Box in your home, just check the last 4 digits on the bottom of your device to make sure you connect to the right one.

 

Step 3:

You’ll see a message confirming you’re connected to your NOW device.

Now just find what you want to watch, and hit play. Select Watch on TV, and then sit back, relax and enjoy the action on your big screen.

Step 4:

Want to use your iPhone as a remote too? Just hit Show remote at the bottom of your screen to turn your iPhone into a remote.

FAQs

Not at all. Just remember that if you're signed in on different accounts, it's the account you're signed into on your NOW Smart Stick or Box that you use to watch.

This might be because your iPhone isn't connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your NOW device.

Make sure your iPhone is connected to the Wi-Fi network, and try reloading the NOW app.

No, sorry. You can only cast using an iPhone at the moment.
