I can't see images or watch video on any websites
If you can’t see videos or pictures on any web pages, try the solutions below.
If you’re having problems watching your TV membership, you can find solutions to the most common issues here.
I can’t watch videos
This might be because you don’t have the right plug-ins for your web browser. A plug-in is a software component that adds extra features to your browser, including the ability to play video or audio.
If there’s just a black or grey box like the one below where the video or audio player should be, or a blank space, you might not have the right plug-in play them. Usually the website you're visiting will prompt you to download the plug-in you need.
I can’t see images
Can you see images on some websites, but not on others? This probably means they’ve been deleted. However if you can’t see images on any websites, check your browser settings:
Select Tools, then Internet options.
In the Settings box find Multimedia and check that the Show pictures box is ticked.
Select OK, and then press F5 to refresh the web page and see images.
Select the menu icon, then select Options.
Select the Content tab.
Tick the box next to Load images automatically.
Select OK, then refresh the browser.
Select the menu icon, then select Settings.
Step 2:Select Show advanced settings at the bottom of the screen.
Under Privacy, select Content settings.
Make sure the Show all images option is selected.
Click Finished, and go back to the page you were looking at. Press F5 to see images on the page.
The only time the ‘Display images’ option should be off is if you've enabled develop mode and selected this option. To display images again, follow the steps below:
Select the Develop menu button at the top of your screen.
(Can't see the Develop menu? You might need to enable it. Just select Safari in the top left corner, and then Preferences and Advanced. Then tick 'Show Develop menu in menu bar'.)
Untick Disable images.
