How do I retune my NOW TV Smart Box?

Are you seeing the message below when trying to watch Freeview channels on your NOW TV Smart Box?

The Freeview TV guide has been updated to make space for more channels. Please retune to get this update.

To stop it coming up, you’ll need to perform a channel rescan to make sure all your TV channels are up to date.

How do I perform a channel rescan?

First, press the back button on your NOW TV remote to remove the message. Then:

Step 1:

Go to the main menu on the NOW TV Box homepage and select Settings.

Step 2:

Select TV channels.

Step 3:

Select Scan Freeview TV channels.

Keep in mind Your NOW TV Smart Box needs to be a connected to a TV aerial to perform a channel rescan.
