Already a NOW Member?
If you’ve already got a NOW account, it's easy to join in.
Just go to the NOW Membership area of My Account (you'll need to sign in, if you haven't already). Then click on Add membership (or Start free trial if available) next to the Entertainment Membership.
New to NOW?
To join, head to NOWTV.com/membership and select the Entertainment Membership. If there are any offers or free trials available, you'll find them here.
Then just complete your details and you can start watching straight away.
Are you an EE TV customer?
If you pay for your membership through EE TV and you don't have Entertainment as part of your core TV package, it's easy to add it as a bolt-on. Just head to NOW Membership and select Add membership (or Start free trial, if available) next to the Entertainment Membership. The cost will be added to your monthly EE TV bill.
FAQs
Entertainment Membership is £9.99 a month. You can cancel at any time.
If you're on a minimum-term plan and you ask to cancel during your minimum term, your cancellation will only take effect when your plan ends.
You get these live entertainment channels: Sky Max, Sky Showcase, Sky Witness, Sky Atlantic, Sky Comedy, Sky Documentaries, Sky History, Sky Nature, Gold, Sky Crime, Comedy Central, Sky Arts, MTV, Sky Sci-Fi and Alibi. You also get on-demand shows from all of these channels (except Sky Showcase).
And for the little ones, there are 7 live kids' channels: Sky Kids, plus Boomerang, Cartoon Network, Nickleodeon, Cartoonito, Nick Jr and Nicktoons. On-demand shows are available for all these channels except Cartoonito. And you get awesome box sets from Milkshake!, CBeebies and CBBC too.
You’ll also find the live Sky News channel in the Entertainment section. You don’t need an active membership to access this channel except on a PC or Mac, where you'll only be able to stream it if you have an Entertainment Membership.
In addition, members of the Deaf community can explore over 100 shows in BSL Zone, with unique content including children's shows, comedy and drama. |
You'll find BSL Zone in the Entertainment section online or in the NOW app on your device, as well as featured in the Diversity and Inclusion Collection.
We’re constantly updating and adding to our catch up shows and box sets.
You can browse our catalogue to see the shows and box sets we currently have available.
All you need to get started is:
- One of the devices listed here
- Minimum 2.5Mbps broadband download speed
- A NOW account.
Ads are shown on the live channels on your Entertainment Membership. You'll also see ads in on-demand shows, unless you've got Boost or Ultra Boost, which let you stream on-demand shows ad-free. (You'll still see trailers for shows you can access with your membership.) Find out more about Boost and Ultra Boost
You might be asked for your viewing PIN when watching the live Entertainment channels between 5.30am and 10pm, depending on the show you’re watching.
If you haven't set up a PIN yet, it's quick and easy to do. Just head to the Settings & PINs section of My Account. If you've got kids in your household and you want to restrict what on-demand shows they can watch with your Entertainment Membership, you can set age restrictions here, too.
Keep in mindYou’ll need to enter your viewing PIN for some live shows even if you don’t have any age restrictions set up.

Watching on YouView?
You don't need a NOW PIN – just enter your YouView PIN. Don't know it? Try the default PIN of 1234, or head to the YouView site for help.
If you've got an Apple or Android smartphone or tablet, you can download shows to your device and watch them anywhere.
Each show can be downloaded twice, and will be saved on your device for up to 30 days. Once you start watching, you've got 48 hours during which you can watch it as many times as you like. Find out more about downloading shows
If you've got Boost or Ultra Boost, you can watch all the live channels you get with your Entertainment Membership in full HD 1080p with Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound except for 2 of the kids' channels: Cartoonito and Nicktoons.
Selected box sets and on-demand kids' episodes are available in full HD, too – and we're adding more all the time. Please note that Peacock shows are not available with 5.1 surround sound.
With Ultra Boost, you'll be able to stream selected shows in 4K Ultra HD HDR with Dolby Atmos on supported devices. If you're watching on a compatible device, you'll see the UHD and Dolby Atmos symbols (as shown below) for each available title.
Good to knowFor your convenience, we’ll automatically show the video and audio quality of each title for the device you’re on. A show may be available in UHD, but if your device can only support HD, you’ll see the HD symbol and the show will play at 1080p.
We’ve created a couple of clever features to keep you in control of what your kids can watch on NOW.
Screen lock
If you’re watching on a smartphone or tablet, the screen lock function makes it tricky for your kids to exit the show they’re watching. So you can feel comfortable leaving them to watch their favourite kids’ shows unsupervised.
Just tap the padlock icon when the show starts to lock the screen. To unlock, hold down the padlock icon.
Exit confirmation
Just in case your kids find their way out of the Kids section, we’ve added a confirmation screen to make sure that you really want to exit.
This means you don't need to worry about younger kids finding shows that aren’t suitable for them.
Parental controls
On top of that, you can set your parental controls features for ultimate peace of mind and choose an age rating to help you control what younger viewers can watch on NOW. Find out how to change your viewing PIN settings
We aim for shows to appear on catch up within 24 hours of first broadcast.
Catch up episodes are usually available for at least 7 days from the date they were first broadcast.
Your first monthly payment will be taken on the day you buy your membership (or if you have a free trial, 7 days after you start your trial). Your next payment will be taken on the same day the following month, or sometimes (if you also added another membership at the same time) a day or two later – in which case you get any extra days for free. Find out how to check your payment date
If you've also got another type of membership, your Entertainment Membership will appear as a separate payment on your statement.
If you're an EE TV customer, when you add the Entertainment Membership as a bolt-on the cost will be added to your monthly EE TV bill. To check what you'll pay and when, log in to your EE TV account and look for Billing & Usage.
NBC News Now is no longer available on NOW. It will still be available internationally on NBCNews.com and NBC News apps. With your Entertainment Membership you still have access to our live Sky News channel in the Entertainment section.
The Peacock-branded zone no longer features on Sky platforms in Europe. Some of Peacock’s popular original content will continue to be available through Sky-branded channels and to stream as part of the NOW Entertainment Membership or Hayu Membership.
