Manage your profile PIN
A profile PIN is a 4-digit PIN that restricts others from accessing your profile on NOW. It also prevents younger viewers from watching content in adult profiles.
When set up, you’ll be prompted to enter your PIN when switching to a protected profile from another profile.
Good to knowFrom 18th February 2025, we’ll be rolling out some great new features on the NOW app. The app updates will roll out over several weeks so you may notice the old and new versions running side by side on different devices. If your NOW app hasn’t updated yet, use the viewing PIN settings in My Account. If it has updated, your viewing PIN will have been removed so you’ll need to create a new profile PIN for each profile you’d like to protect.
Your profile PIN can only be managed by you, so our advisors won't be able to set or reset it for you - you'll need to do this yourself online.
Managing your profile PIN is simple. Find out how to create, update, remove or reset your profile PIN in the steps below:
Step 1:
Head to the Who’s Watching Profiles page in the NOW app or through a web browser
Step 2:
Click on the pencil icon under the profile you’d like to edit
Step 3:
Click on the toggle next to the profile PIN setting to turn it on, or click on the Change PIN button
Step 4:
Enter your account password
Step 5:
Enter and confirm your new PIN, then click Save PIN.

Step 2:
Click on the pencil icon under the profile you’d like to edit
Step 3:
Click on the toggle next to the profile PIN setting to turn it off
Step 4:
Enter your current profile PIN.
If you’ve forgotten your profile PIN, you can reset it by following the steps below:
Step 1:
Head to the Who’s Watching Profiles page in the NOW app or through a web browser
Step 2:
Click on the pencil icon under the profile you'd like to edit
Step 3:
Click on the Reset button next to the Profile PIN setting
Step 4:
Enter your account password
Step 5:
Enter and confirm your new PIN, then click Save PIN.

You don't need a NOW profile PIN – just enter your YouView PIN. Don't know it? Try the default PIN of 1234, or head to the YouView site for help.
Your NOW profile PIN is separate from your EE TV PIN, which you can change through your EE TV box. Head to the EE website to find out how to change your EE TV PIN.
Good to knowIf you’re only watching on your EE TV box, you don’t need a NOW profile PIN – just use your EE TV PIN.
