Change/reset my Parental or Payment PIN settings

There are 2 types of PIN on your account:

Parental PIN

This helps you control what younger viewers can watch. Your Parental PIN is automatically turned off when you sign up, but even when it's off, you'll need to enter it to watch any live movies on most Sky Cinema channels. Find out more about Parental PIN

Go to My Account and then Parental controls to see the settings for your Parental PIN. You'll need to sign in, if you haven't already.

From here you can:

  • Set up your PIN for the first time.
  • Turn your Parental PIN on or off.  You’ll be asked for your Parental PIN first if you want to turn it off.
  • Change settings. This allows you to set the age ratings for which your Parental PIN will be required. You’ll need to enter your Parental PIN before you can remove any age restrictions. Note that any age rating you set won't apply to live Sky Cinema channels, which require a PIN to watch.
  • Reset your Parental PIN. To do this:
Step 1:

Select Reset your PIN.

Step 2:

Enter your password, and then enter your new Parental PIN.

Step 3:

Enter your new Parental PIN again, and then select Save PIN.

Xbox One

Xbox One has master parental controls which will override your NOW TV Parental PIN.

If you've turned off your NOW TV Parental PIN and you still can't watch certain movies or shows, you'll need to change the parental controls on your Xbox One to restore access.

You also have the option to change your family filter settings. This will block any images or content that's rated above your preferred settings.

PS4

The parental controls for PS4 don't affect your NOW TV viewing. If you have parental controls set on your PS4, you'll still need to set your Parental PINs on your NOW TV account to your desired level.


 


Payment PIN

This helps you control who can buy new Passes. Your Payment PIN is automatically turned off when you sign up.

Select My Account and then Payment PIN to see the settings for your Payment PIN.

From here you can:

  • Turn your Payment PIN on or off. You’ll be asked for your Payment PIN first if you want to turn it off.
  • Reset your Payment PIN. To do this:
Step 1:

Select Reset your PIN.

Select 'Reset your PIN'

Step 2:

Enter your password, and then enter your new Payment PIN.

 

Step 3:

Enter your new Payment PIN again, and then select Save changes.
