Why can't I access or browse certain websites?

If a website is blocked, it's usually due to either your security software or copyright infringement.

Sites blocked by your security software

If you can't view a website, it might be blocked by your security software or parental controls, including NOW Broadband Buddy. The website might have been added to your blocked list, or contain a word that’s been blocked.

If the website’s been blocked by your security software or parental controls, you should see a  see a message telling you this.

Sites blocked due to copyright infringement 

NOW has also blocked a number of sites that infringe the copyright or trademark of other companies, under order of the High Court.
