When will my upgrade take effect?
Your Ultra Boost benefits will kick in immediately, but sometimes it can take a little while for the app to catch up. If it doesn’t seem as though your account has updated, you can trigger an update by signing out of the NOW app and signing back in again.
What about the Boost time I haven’t used?
Because your upgrade is immediate and you’ll have paid for Boost in advance, if you’re upgrading part way through the month we’ll give you a pro-rata refund for any Boost time you didn’t use.
For example, if you’re paying £6 a month for Boost and you upgrade to Ultra Boost halfway through your billing month, we’ll refund you £3.
Good to knowIf you were on a Boost free trial or free offer, you won’t be eligible for a pro-rata refund when you upgrade.
How will I be refunded?
We'll refund you using the same payment method you paid with. So if you used your credit balance to upgrade, we'll refund you by crediting your account. Otherwise, we'll refund the payment method saved on your account.

You should see your refund back in your account within 5 working days.
When you sign in to My Account you’ll see a notification showing your total balance, with a link to your credit page where you can see a breakdown of your credit.
How do I use my credit?
Your credit will automatically be used as your primary payment method. So next time you make a purchase or a monthly membership auto-renews, we’ll use your credit first, and anything remaining to be paid will be charged to your saved payment method.
Credit will be stored on your account for 3 years, so you’ll have plenty of time to use it.
