How to improve poor picture quality on your Windows PC


Watching NOW TV on Windows using Silverlight?

If you're worried you might not be getting the best possible picture quality, there’s an easy way to check.

Check your picture quality

  1. Sign in to your NOW TV account.
  2. Select any movie, TV show or sporting event to watch.
  3. Wait at least 30 seconds after the programme starts, then rollover the playback window.
  4. Between the time and volume symbols, you’ll see the word MAX.
White MAX symbol
If the MAX symbol is white, you’re watching NOW TV at the maximum picture quality.

A blue MAX symbol shows that your picture quality could be improved. If using Wi-Fi or broadband, you’ll need a speed of at least 2.5Mbps for the best NOW TV picture quality. Use one of these websites to check your internet connection speed:
