How to ensure your Windows 8 or 10 device isn't counted twice

Print

If you notice that your Windows 10 (or Windows 8) device is listed twice in My Devices, this is because there are 2 ways you can watch NOW TV on your device:

  1. Through the NOW TV app from the Windows Store.
  2. Through your internet browser (or using the NOW TV Player if you're on Firefox v52).

Each of these counts as a separate device. So if you watch NOW TV using both methods, 2 of your available 4 devices will be used up.

How do I make sure my device is only counted once?

We recommend just using the NOW TV app to avoid using up 2 device slots.

If your device is already listed twice, you can remove the device corresponding to your internet browser to free up a device slot. Look at the ‘last used’ date in My Devices to help you tell which is which.
