Connecting an Apple device to my Wi-Fi network

It’s quick and easy to connect your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to your Wi-Fi network. Before you start, switch on your Apple device and check that your hub is connected to the internet.

Step 1:

Switch on your Apple device and select the Settings icon.

Step 2:

Select Wi-Fi in the Settings menu.

Step 3:

Make sure Wi-Fi is turned On.

 

Step 4:

Select the name of your Wi-Fi network from the list.

Your network name is on the back or bottom of your NOW Hub and on the Connect card that came with your Hub.

What does my network name look like?

Unless you've changed it, your Wi-Fi network name will be something like 'NOWTV' followed by five numbers and letters. For example, NOWTV A2345.

 
Step 5:

Enter your Wi-Fi password and select Join. You can find your password on the back or bottom of your NOW Hub and on the Connect card that came with your Hub.

Keep in mindAlways enter your password in capital letters. The password doesn't contain any numbers.

Step 6:

You’ll see a tick against your Wi-Fi network name when your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad is connected to your broadband.

 

How do I check my network details?

Just select the arrow next to the name of your Wi-Fi network to see your network details.
 

I’m having problems getting online

If you can’t get online with your Apple device, first check to see if you can get connect to the network using another device, such as a PC or Android smartphone.

If you can view websites with another device and the problem is only affecting your Apple device, you'll need to refer to the manufacturer's instructions.
