Connecting an Apple device to my Wi-Fi network
It’s quick and easy to connect your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to your NOW TV Broadband. Before you start, switch on your Apple device and check that your NOW TV Hub is connected to the internet.
Switch on your Apple device and select the Settings icon.
Select Wi-Fi in the Settings menu.
Make sure Wi-Fi is turned On.
Select the name of your Wi-Fi network from the list.
Your network name is on the back of your Hub and on the Connect card in your Hub pack.
What does my network name look like?
Unless you've changed it, your Wi-Fi network name will be something like 'NOWTV' followed by five numbers and letters. For example, NOWTV A2345.
Enter your Wi-Fi password and select Join. You can find your password on the back of your Hub and on the Connect card in the box with your Hub.
Remember Always enter your password in capital letters. The password doesn't contain any numbers.
You’ll see a tick against your Wi-Fi network name when your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad is connected to your broadband.
How do I check my network details?
Just select the arrow next to the name of your Wi-Fi network to see your network details.
I’m having problems getting online
If you can’t get online with your Apple device, first check to see if you can get connect to the network using another device, such as a PC or Android smartphone.
If you still can’t get online, try our step-by step-guide to fixing your broadband.
If you can view websites with another device and the problem is only affecting your Apple device, you'll need to refer to the manufacturer's instructions.
Want to boost your Wi-Fi signal?
The NOW TV Hub is pretty powerful but there might be the odd room that’s just out of reach. A Wi-Fi booster will help you get rid of those broadband black spots.
We recommend the Sky Wireless Booster. It’s easy to set up and works perfectly with your NOW TV Hub. You can get one from the Sky Accessory Shop.
